As part of the safari planning process I will guide you through the best destinations, activities, accommodation and essential information so that you can feel confident and assured each step of the journeys

Where to Explore

Kenya

The classic safari heartland. Home to the Great Migration and wide-open savannahs, Kenya offers an iconic introduction to Africa with a deep focus on cultural heritage and wildlife conservation.

Botswana

Unspoiled and exclusive. Experience the Okavango Delta’s unique water-based safaris and the elephant-rich Chobe National Park, perfect for travellers seeking quiet luxury and deep connection with nature.

South Africa

Diversity at its finest. From world-class private game reserves to the sophisticated charm of the Cape Winelands and the vibrant culture of Cape Town, it’s a journey of contrasts and comfort.

Namibia

A land of surreal landscapes. From the towering red dunes of the Namib Desert to the wildlife-rich Etosha Pan, Namibia offers adventure for those seeking solitude and raw beauty.

Tanzania

The land of Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. Experience the legendary Serengeti, the geological wonder of Ngorongoro Crater, and the spice-scented beaches of the coast.

Zimbabwe

The home of Victoria Falls. Renowned for its exceptional professional guides and authentic walking safaris, Zimbabwe offers an unfiltered and deeply immersive wildlife experience.

Rwanda

The Land of a Thousand Hills. Rwanda offers intimate encounters with Mountain Gorillas and a profound story of resilience and regrowth.

Uganda

The Pearl of Africa. Famous for gorilla trekking in Bwindi and the source of the Nile, Uganda offers incredible biodiversity, from chimpanzee forests to savannah game viewing.

Zambia

The wild alternative. Revere Zambia’s Luangwa and Zambezi rivers, where high-quality walking safaris and exceptional guiding meet untamed, off-the-beaten-path wilderness.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia offers a very different side of Africa. From the rock‑hewn churches of Lalibela to the highlands and lakes, it’s rich in history, culture and scenery. While it’s not a classic ‘big game’ safari destination, Ethiopia can be a rewarding add‑on for curious travellers.

Madagascar

The fourth largest island in the world. Featuring a range of plant and animal species unique to Madagascar, including the lemur. With tourism in it's infancy Madagascar offers more basic accommodation options and authentic experiences.

When to Travel: Climates & Seasons

Understanding Africa's seasons is the first step to a successful safari. Whether you are chasing the Great Migration across the Serengeti or seeking the lush landscapes of the Okavango Delta, the timing of your visit affects everything from wildlife visibility to local temperatures.

Generally, the dry season offers the best game viewing as animals gather around permanent water sources and the vegetation is thin, while the 'Green Season' brings spectacular birdlife and newborn animals at a more relaxed pace.

I will help you understand the seasons for the destination and interests you are interested in as part of the planning process. Send an enquiry from the home page to get started!
